I think this guy needs to STFU or start off every one of his "breaking news" releases with "The UT AD has just asked me to spread this around..."
I guess he doesn't realize the strings attached to him show up in HD. Pretty soon, his nose isn't gonna fit on my tv anymore.
What do yall think, puppet or just a reporter getting the scoop?

On his radio show, he said reality needs to set in for a&m and realize who and what texas is and have respect.
How anyone that listens to him isn't taking what he says with tablespoons of salt, has just as much orange in their blood as he does. He runs a ut website. He has ut-driven advertising supporting his radio show on a station named THE HORN. His blood may not be orange but the money in his wallet certainly is.

I think you have this all wrong
1st, he's hosting his golf tourney today, he hasn't been on since this morning - E Hogan was pulling his shift this afternoon, so I havent heard a thing from him at all today, I'd be surprised if he was doing much reporting today
2nd - he's been 100% correct so far - on this topic
3rd-he's got no ties to UT. He's got way more pull with the Cowboys front office than the 40acres. Up until when the Dallas Morning News let him go and he moved down here, did he really have much to do with UT
Lastly - Mack Brown fricking hates Ketch - he tolerates him, but he hates him - the rest of the Athletic Dept follow suit. If they were going to use a pipeline to leak dis-information, it wouldnt be Orangebloods. Chip doesnt run the website, it's Ketch's - and yes, Ketch and Orangebloods basically dominates the lineup for 104.9.
you're way off base here - I think he's just reporting the facts as he's getting them. He's a pretty good reporter/beat writer, and think he follows the ethics of journalism. Ketchum on the other hand is a goat - I wouldnt trust one thing he reports
I do agree, though, he's using this to help bolster his profile and career - who wouldn't?

I can't stand ketchum either, and I'll admit I confused the two of them about who runs the website.
If he was on the bottom line this morning, it was him who said it. I've listened to these guys long enough to know they have agendas(slob ut's knob an put own everyone else) and you can trade one for the other.
