I think Coach O has earned the chance to be HC at LSU. Let him get a good offensive coordinator and see what happens over three years. If it don't work out, go find someone else.
One thing that a lot of youngsters don't understand is that everyone fricks up at some point. As long as it is not THE frickup, and you learn from it, you build character and maturity.
I get the impression that while Ed has made a couple of frickups in life and career, he has learned from those, and taken what he has learned to be a better person and coach.
