Seriously. Look at it objectively. There weren't reports dropping that Herman was close to a deal with Texas. The leaks were likely a result of UT being split internally and pissed that LSU was nearing a deal with Herman. Hormsdigest was the source of the leak.
If you buy the Herman agent angle, which I don't, then let Herman walk.

How? We're being played by Herman's agent? Why did Texas leak the info then? Go reread the Ketchum tweet. The one that ultimately led to the ESPN story.
He said a very pro Herman Texas booster dropped the bomb. They'd be keeping it sealed if they were in the driver's seat. My bet is Texas burned the Herman bridge last night.

We have gotten played by UT and Texas. They have wanted Herman all along and ESPN has colluded with them to leak the deal and torpedo it.
