Holy shite texas fired Strong an hour ago and already has a coach. LSU fired Miles like 2 or 3 months ago and we settle for the interim coach instantly.

TEXAS is a shite show! Strong was a can't miss guy and look how that worked out. The man didn't produce immediately and Texas wasn't willing to give the system anymore time. That same system is in place, there is one good year of recruiting there, but Herman is expected to win a championship next yr. Good Luck. But he got the opportunity to play where he had coached before, this and our limit on funds is why we were never going to win a bidding war with Texas.
Herman had potential and could win a championship but he is just as likely to wind up like Strong and be a also ran in 3 yrs.

LSU NEVER had a shot at Herman if the UT job was there. That is where Herman wanted to be.
