I was in a clinic where he talked about zone blitzing. He really lokes to disquise his coverages. His players have to be on the ball because he has several packages where thay read on the run - based on QB drop lane.

Sounds good. But beware - don't say "read" around here. "Read" becomes "read and react" which becomes "tepper" which becomes :omg:.

I can't wait to see what Tenuta can do with LSU's D. Comparing GT defensive talent to LSU is a joke. Pellini owes this job to Saban's recruiting. And I hate Saban, but guy gave Pellini most of this talent.

Oh, also, can he coach DBs? IMO that's the biggest thing that we lost when Saban left. That bastard could teach coverage skills.

I agree. We have tons more talent than GT. I don't know if Tenuta is "polished" enough to get the GT head job. His defense at LSU would be a beast!

Living in Atlanta, Ive seen his defenses plenty. He is not an all out blitz type of caoch. He sends 5 every down. He disguises them well. He tries to confuse the OL and likes to put constant pressure on the QB. The OL and QB have to figure out which 5 are coming.

Agreed CHAS...I believe the secondary is his "baby".
