I'm not sure. But he had some very good defenses, is very passionate, and has coached under 2 of the best program runners in TT and Mack Brown. I was just really impressed with him when I was in Austin. I'm not saying hire him--he might not be ready--but I'd interview him and hear what he had to say.

No doubt, from most reports/indications, he's a helluva defensive coach.
But, if you looked at him for the first time, you'd he'd he was some strength or linebacker coach
