SEC Contracts

Is it normal for a head football coach in the SEC have clauses in their contracts that prevent them from leaving to coach another SEC school? Obviously lane didn't have one, just curious if that is a thing?

Kind of figured that but would seem like the Bama/ Georgia types could do it

Sure but those are also the jobs you don’t have to worry about guys hopping elsewhere. If you go from Georgia to Kentucky, they probably wanted you gone already
