I don't like the way Saban left LSU. I don't think he will leave Bama for another paycut (he toke a million less to go to Bama)

Cool. Most Bama fans didn't give a rip if Miles left for UM. I'll sleep tonight if I heard Saban left for WVU. I guess that means I have a life.
Really. I guess ya'll got such a successful thing going you can't be bothered with our sorry arses while you prepare for your epic battle in Shreveport. Oh wait, then what is someone "with a life" doing on an LSU message board? I can't imagine going to a bama board, but I guess that's because this is the best one out there LSU or not.
Fact is your cheating school was once great and is now a mere shadow of its' former self, yet countless Bammers come on here to flame every day about the inevitable return to greatness and how ya'll will take us down blah blah blah. I think most fans agree Saban's a great coach, we hated to see him go but wished him luck, and when he went to Bama it was on and the rivalry was officially back! Watching you Gumps twist and spin the rumors that are just beginning and will never end as long as he's there is really just part of enjoying the rivalry. But you'll have to win at least 1 for it to truly be a rivalry won't you?

I really believe that Michigan turned Saban down and WV just might do the same.

I just saw that the original link in this thread hit CNNSI.com.

But here is what I don't get. They say this
It's a freaking WVU message board. LSU has nothing to do with it. Amazing.

Though it's likely just a rumor started by a LSU fan, the Internet is buzzing with word that Nick Saban's agent contacted West Virginia about its open coaching position.

Sadly it was always more of a rivalry to us than to Bama fans. Ole Miss was our #1. It would heat up at times between us and Bama but never approached the level it went to the day Nick took the Bama job- and I think that goes for your side too. Yeah you still got your rivalries with Auburn, UGA, UT, etc... but now it seems like we're near as big a rivalry for ya'll as anyone except Auburn of course. Come to think of it, you've probably got more true rivalries than any school in the SEC, maybe the country for that matter. I guess it was all those yrs on top that brought them on. Regardless, whatever it was before sure grew tenfold with Nick going there, but just my opinion.

I like LSU outside of the Bama-LSU game, I want them to win their games (unless they play PSU or TA&M).
I don't even understand how y'all qualify as a rival to us, or vice versa.
It's like this for us: Auburn, Tennessee, Penn State, Notre Dame.
For y'all: (In no particular order) Ole Miss, Auburn, Tulane, and Bama

I guess I'm too thick but not following you. You say "we", but it sounds like you're referring to LSU not qualifying as a rival to Bama. You being a Bammer "we" would mean you guys. Not being a jerk just confused, but not for the first time (on this board). As far as LSU not qualifying as a rival to BAMA? Then why all the Bammers on an LSU board, all the interest? Our old coach going there didn't stoke it up? I know ya'll got tons of hate for Auburn but sure seems like we're on the list somewhere now.

Nah, y'all just have better boards with more people. That's all. Messing with other fans is nice most of the time.
P.S: I did make some mistakes in that post, I'll make them more clear.
