You guys are delusional. No way slick Nick is going to walk on $4 mill a year for less than $2 mill, I don't care how "unhappy" he is at Bama.

Lets see if there is any credibility to this, before we start laughing too hard.

Bama is desperate and knows that Saban leaving could spell doom for that program. What I find interesting about the deal is that Saban is at the age where he would want to start considering retirement. He has NO BUYOUT and WVU now has at least 4 mil to work with from Michigan. Let's not forget that Saban is not actually making 4 mil per year at Bama right now. I think if WVU could come up with about 2.5 or so total and give Saban a 4 mil signing bonus along with other perks then he could jump ship. That is the kind of job a coach can retire at with relatively low stress. Bama, on the other hand, will be the death of Saban if he does not win A BUNCH and VERY QUICKLY!

This point needs to be cleared up. Saban signed a very long term contract that we all know he won't likely keep regardless of what happens with the West Virginia job. He IS NOT making 4 mil per year because its a graduated contract. He makes less than 3.5 mil per year and will make around 3.5 mil next year. He has no buyout! A short term contract with WVU with NC stipulations similar to his LSU contract along with the $4mil buyout money could make this deal more plausable than it might seem.

I can see the next report on ESPN: Les Miles is a liar! He WILL be the next coach at Alabama! Bank it!

Dosn't matter if he eventually goes. The rumor/allegation is enough to sway recruits and some biggies are in decision mode as we speak. This could not have come at a better time.

Miles to Bama would just be absurd. Saban it West Va would have some validity but there is no way Miles would give up Michigan and then go to the coaching graveyard better known as The University of Alabama (post Bear)!

This would mean we won't get the chance to lay the smack down on him in Tiger Stadium next season. Damn!
