Fisher- Probably has a deal in place in Baton Rouge but just to drive the price up higher Sexton is leveraging a possible match from Fl State and creating the mirage of Texas interest. I say call Sexton's bluff and offer Jimbo a slight bump in pay to come here, I think Jimbo really wants the job and has told Sexton as much.

Herman- This is the coach I'd really like to see at LSU but unfortunately I think Herman to Texas has been done long ago. Everything is bigger in Texas and so are the games that are being played with Herman between UT and his agent. They both know Herman will end up there so Texas is playing games to lower the perception of interest in order to keep the price lower by introducing these "red flags" in addition to adding perceived interest in Fisher, Dabo, etc. Herman's agent is pushing speculation of interest in jobs like LSU, Baylor, Oregon to keep the price higher when it's likely Herman has told his agent he wants to end up at Texas.

I don't think things are as fluid as they appear to be, just have to play your hand til all the cards have been dealt. I think we will get Jimbo. One thing that has me worried is Aranda. The lack of information regarding his commitment to staying has me a bit concerned. Feels like he might be a package deal with Herman but I hope to be wrong.
