I don't know who that was meant for, but I am actually a Miles supporter. But my point was its funny how these bashers have disappeared after bashing Miles, and saying no one will want to come work for him. Miles seems to do good in hiring coaches to tweak his staff when necessary
you are tight and I was out of line, I reacted before I had my morning coffee

Speaking as one who has been at the bashing parties, if all these changes and assistants do truly come to pass, Les Miles, I salute you. You are the man, and Alabama had best move over next year!

BUT, he has great recruits for these guys to work with. They may like that. They may also like his flexibility.

Also he finds jobs for those that don't work out, and his position coaches are getting HC gigs. People complain about him keeping guys past the bowl game in order that they can find another job (and FEED their family), but that is a factor when you consider working for him and it's showing.

So where is everyone who said no one would come coach under Miles because he is a lame duck coach?

I am actually impressed so far at the staff he has been able to put together. Here is to him filling out the rest of the staff with more good hires.

yeah im sure you are impressed with retaining the wizzard and stud

you are an idiot and miles is on a sinking ship

In their defense, they hate Miles himself, so why would they care who he hires?

Are you really calling out Miles bashers because you think he is hiring some awesome assistant coaches? I'll go ahead and wait for him to ever beat Alabama or Florida again before I repent. Its awesome how Miles can get you all so excited every offseason by throwing half of his staff under the bus and signing some recruits. It doesn't take much to make people forget him getting outcoached 7-8 times this past year. But hey we have a signature win over a 7-5 UGA team!!!

go fricking read the posts on the board, everyone seems to think that way

the advocate TODAY said that there will be no more changes
It doesnt really matter who he brings in, having him as the HC is the real problem

Yes I do support Miles. If you believe his ship is sinking then I don't know what to tell you. I believe when it is all said and done he will have a whole new offensive staff, but stud and crowton won't be replaced till after bowl game IMO.

Im right here. If Crowton and Stud aren't let go then the whole off season was complete fricking waste. I mean we got rid of our best offensive coaches and kept the worst? Makes sense.

wtf does that prove? the advocate is now the definitive source on all coaching moves LSU makes? Where were they on BG's hire? You're blasting him for something that is completely up in the air, at least stick to blasting him for a legit reason, ie his on the field stuff.

ofcourse he's trying to help his chances of staying on, by hiring great coaches and trying to win games. God forbid he do that. I don't think Miles is what LSU needs as a HC, but wtf do you want him to do? We're stuck w/ him, might as well hope he can get the best staff around him to make up for what he lacks as a HC. He's proven you can win big if you have a great staff and recruit lights out.

It is amazing how if Miles makes no changes some people get mad at him, but if he does try to right the ship then those same people still aren't happy. Give him some credit at least he is trying, if his hires don't work out it wasn't for a like of trying to right what was wrong with the offense.

I'm sorry but what "changes" has Miles made?

Coach Porter recieved a promotion to become a head coach. That is not a "change" Miles made.

D.J. McCarthy has the school under investigation. Seems like a no brainer but I guess I will give Miles credit for getting rid of him.

Coach Stud and Crowton, who everyone agrees needs to go, are the ones that are still here.

Please, tell me what "changes" Miles made.

so you'd have him leave the two open coaching positions empty? Or would you rather he'd just promote a couple grad assts?

If we go into next season w/ the same OC and/or OL coach, it's a legit concern. As of now he's done as well as anyone could hope in filling the two open spots.

Yea thats what I would do
.....I'm saying quit acting like Miles made changes. He didnt change shite. Porter just moved on so Miles hired someone new. A "change" would be if Miles "fired" Crowton and Stud and hired someone new. But he hasn't so dont come on here acting like Miles has made changes trying to right the ship.
