Michigan set the blueprints

I laughed at some of the Michigan fans at first when they said they were getting Harbaugh, I kept thinking there is no way, but their AD refused to accept no for an answer. He backed up the Brinks truck and they got their man. If Alleva and the BOS have half the smarts that is what you do with Herman or Fisher and you just dont take no for an answer. Now , I have sense enough to figure out we will not be able to get into a bidding war with Texas but that is the only school that can outbid us with maybe the exception of Bama. No is not acceptable, everyone has their price and eventhough the state of Louisiana may be broke as jbe WOULD have you to believe, Ive read the Forbes reports and USA today, etc, and have sense enough to know that LSU's athletic foundation has the money. Do your job Alleva and BOS.

If this program wants to be elite, that's what you have to do. The fact that the admin seems scared of a bidding war shows that they don't feel it's important enough to pursue and open the pocket books for. Raise the ticket prices a little if you have to help pay for it. The fans would rather hire a home run than some meh 3rd-4th choice.

The Harbaugh blueprint isn't quite the same, he was on his way out the door in San Francisco regardless, and Michigan was his alma mater.

Even if Texas can outbid us, make them. None of this "not even trying" bullshite. Make them pay the man 8m+
