I don't disagree, but he could get a better gig. He's going to have a hard time getting the facilities to keep up with the Jones'. I've never understood Miami's hesitation to maintain that program's facilities. They would be a top selling brand, hands down, with them.

Its because most of their NFL players dont give one cent back to the program. They spend it all on houses, cars, and bling.

True, but even the school and alumni are shotty. It's also a high dollar private school so they have money. They just don't spend. The U is already a marketing machine and blow the doors off if it could get to a top national level again. With their conference, talent pool, and location, it should be a no brainer except for the school's reluctance.

According to a U alum I work with... Shalala has raised a lot of $$$ in her time there... Thats why they were willing to pay Gruden

Raising money to pay a coach and raising money for facilities, staff, and upkeep is a wide margin of money. Grand Canyon wide.
