My gut says no, been there done that.
I am curious about Mason, Freeman comparison.
It appears that Freeman had a very good year, but I also read where he is actively seeking a major HC job. I think he has already turned down DC at Mich State. Mason seems to be a better DC than HC, although it is hard to determine at Vandy, but between the two I think I would prefer Mason because he good defensive records even with inferior SEC players, and he probably wouldn't be so much in demand as a HC as Freeman should LSU defense suddenly be very good next couple of years. I don't know, just thinking out loud. I sure don't want Odom. He has shown me nothing.

It amazes me that some of you would prefer Barry Odom, a guy whose Defense just ranked 110th in the country and who gave up as many points per game as we do instead of hiring Steele. That is fricking baffling!

I’ll defend the rant on linehan. That was a pretty meh reaction. You are right on the rest.
