I think the rivalery would be better if the game was in Fayetteville and not Little Rock. I will probably never go to the game in Little Rock again

As an Arkansas fan it is hard to say that LSU is our true rivalry. Simply because I have close friends who are LSU fans and after having attended non-HOG/LSU game, I've rooted for LSU. When it concerns LSU, I root for you guys when we are not playing....can bad blood develop? Sure...but it isn't there yet with me.

our "rivalry" with Arkansas is a manufactured one by the SEC. From the game being scheduled at the end of the year to the Boot, it is a creation of the SEC, not the fans or players. Arkansas has always been my second team, so it's hard for me to hate them year around. Of course come gameday I am ready for us to pound them.

The fact remains that Arkansas will still have to recruit out of state to get to an elite level. Vince Lombardi could not WIN only with Arkansas talent. They will always be a mid major SEC program. They will have good years every so often but never a great year.
