First of all Herman is the best all around hire. He has the biggest upside but he's probably going to Texas. Even if we get him I feel LSU fans will over hype him and crown him king and he will fall short of expectations. If he meets expectations I could also see him moving on to the NFL. But I think that would be a good problem to have.
Jimbo is also a solid hire on paper. He should keep us afloat just like les did for a decade. We will give him a blank check and he will sit on his lottery cash. He's not hungry. He has his ring. He had one good year with a great talented team and a heisman quarterback. Chizik did the same thing at Auburn. Chizik just beat him with North Carolina. IMO he's a has been
Coach O is the least qualified to be a head coach of a major program. No one looks at O and sees an offensive genius. He is a unique coach with various experiences coaching at top programs around the country. i don't think it's unrealistic that he could fit in well at LSU. LSU would pay him a minimal salary and he would actually have to prove himself first unlike every coach and recruit we get.
If coach O does get the job at least give him the benefit of the doubt. The man has been captaining a sinking ship of an offense with a TE coach. He definitely needs to establish a new culture of discipline. Miles let his players become bigger than the team and the coaches.

I love how winning a National Championship a few years ago is immediately correlated with washed up if your last name isn't Saban or Meyer.

Jimbo is another les. Jimbo is our attempt to out 'saban' bama. That's not going to happen. I believe we need the anti-saban. The underdog. The rocky balboa. We need to flip the script

I'm sick and fricking tired of being the underdog to Alabama, and hiring Ed Orgeron is not the way to dig ourselves out of a 6 year hole

I really don't think jimbo is a has been. More of a one hit wonder. He has had great talent and is on the decline. He's just another les

We might as well inbrace being the underdog because every year we hype ourselves up like we are better and then we fall short. Jimbo won't beat saban. Lightning doesn't strike twice
