He doesn’t seem like a woody hire. He’s Not a seasoned head coach, but being co defensive coordinator of Georgia’s defense and linebackers coach with leading this year’s defense is a major accomplishment.

I was shouting from the roof to hire Schumann as DC before we hired Pelini. Schumann probably isn’t set to be HC, but should 100% be our DC

He’s an elite recruiter. He thinks about the game in really modern and progressive ways.

I’ve always called him the Joe Brady of defense.

Having said all that, I would kill to have him as my DC and Nathaniel Hackett as my HC.

I think Georgia's defense is incredible but I think it has as much to do with the Jimmy's and Joe's as the coaching. Like offensive line they have recruited defense lights out.
