So last year word leaks that Alleva is making a move to pull a National Champion Head coach from fsu to LSU. Politics from unnecessary levels weigh in to block such an expensive move at a time when the rest of the university is facing budget cuts.
Les Miles, after a day full of farewell festivities topped with being carried off the field after his 5 consecutive victories over TAMU retains his job leaving tiger fans scratching their head on the direction of the program.
A wisconsin and auburn loss was enough to sway the powers that be to forget last years morals and ditch the university's most successful football coach. the plan to name the new successor must have been perfected and ready to move full steam ahead.
The number one candidate: the same as one year ago: jimbo fisher
LSU is ready to pay any amount necessary to land the former OC that coached LSU to a national championship and produced his first #1 QB Draft pick.
6.5 Mil and 10 years later LSU is not as ready as they thought.
With Jimbo out of the way, Back to the most talked about target at the time of les miles hiriing... Tom Herman.
With every media outlet reporting Tom Herman deal is ready to be signed... Alleva takes time out from watching the game to make a statement that he and admin are focused on the team winning tonights games and not ready to announce a new coach.
Dear Joe Alleva: this has been the most drawn out, dramatic, stressful, unprofessional, coaching carousel by a program widely considered top tier.
Its been a full year. Posters on this forum have better direction than you.
Les miles is now even ready to hear about a successor. Jimbo would rather stay at fsu than wait for you to step to the plate, Tom Herman is waiting at the altar and you say your taking your time. how much time do you need.
Bring this program some direction. Step up as the AD responsible for hiring the next head coach to the best current coaching availability in all of sports.

Dumbass. They can't announce anything. They can't say they have a deal done.
They may already have a deal done. We aren't supposed to know yet. We can't know yet unless someone leaks info they aren't supposed to leak.
We aren't entitled to any info until an official announcement is made. They CAN'T make an announcement even if they have an agreement.
So STFU

They are trying to slow down the ridiculous amount of info and "I have source" people. He said what he had to say.
They may have a deal. They may not. No one knows.
