Thoughts on Robert Caro - Books on Power

I have a long stint abroad coming up, and have picked up a number of books written by Robert Caro through a recommendation. Before I dive into them (they are around 1000 pages a piece), I’d like to see if anyone else has read him and can offer an opinion on him. Before the recommendation, I had never heard of him. His books are mainly centered around power in politics, and he’s done a large series on President Johnson’s time in the Senate.
TIA

“The Power Broker” was actually the first one I picked up, and got me intrigued in some of his other ones. I picked up “Master of the Senate” the other day and can’t wait to read that one as well.
