One of my sons just finished reading Old Yeller today
Made me smile when he was angry and sad at the same time because of the ending.

My daughter started it the other day. I warned her it would make her sad so she put it down. I guess I shouldn't have said anything. Where the red fern grows is my favorite in that genera.
