Has anyone read his newest book, Statistical Consequences of Fat Tails? Just wondering what level of math comprehension would be needed.

I've read a fair bit of Taleb and enjoy his contrarian approach to things. I followed him a bit on Twatter when covid first hit and he's been talking about fat tails for a while. And I still can't follow what he's talking about. Maybe he explains it in the book. A platform with a 280 character limit probably isn't the place for fairly advanced math.

He explains it with minimal math in his other books like Black Swan and Antifragile

The commentary I've read about the newest one seems like it is geared towards a more proficient reader.

Yeah, you're right, I just lost track of the term "fat tail" and what it meant. Not too hard, the graph below illustrates it pretty well.

Yeah, he gets wordy and hard to follow at times—especially when he wants you to know he reads Greek philosophy lol
