Any HM fans on here? I’m reading Norwegian Wood now.

I read the Wind up Bird Chronicles a while ago, 2 excellent books.

I've loved what I've read so far, minus 1Q84. I haven't done Norwegian Wood yet, though I've had a copy on the shelf for years now.

Is probably rank them
1. Wind-Up Bird Chronicle
2. Kafka on the Shore
3. Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki
4. The City and Its Uncertain Walls
5. Men Without Women (short story collection)
6. 1Q84, which is considered by many to be great, but which did not work for me at all

They made a movie for Norwegian Wood with Kiko Mizuhara. Its in japanese but has English subtitles. Really good.

1Q84 (sort of hated the ending) was the first 1,000 pager i read

Wind up bird chronicle was very good. The story of the guy getting skinned alive had me squirming.
