Desert Solitaire by Edward Abbey

Currently reading this fine piece of environmental literature. It’s a wild ride written in 1968 based on Abbey’s two years as a park ranger in Arches/Moab in 1956/7.

Lots of prophetic wisdom on his part concerning the state of America then and what was and is to come.

If you like environmental / anarchist literature this is the book for you.
