Ole Miss is expected to hire former Rebels linebacker and team captain Lanier Goethie as a member of its defensive staff, according to multiple reports.
Goethie got his start in the coaching ranks as a graduate assistant coach at Ole Miss in 2009. He went on to coach at Delta State, North Greenville University, and Duke. He also spent three years with the Falcons as a defensive assistant.
