For a running back he has been in the league for a while. I am sure he can find a place in a 2 to 3 back system else where.

Belichick runs a tight ship. Addai might not have taken too well to his style of coaching perhaps thus the comment that he just "quit". He has been a good enough back to surely land up somewhere else.
