Update per ESPN:
According to ESPN, The University of Texas is interested in UCLA's Jim Mora to be the next head coach of the Longhorns. Sources close to Mora deny that he has been contacted about the job.
Texas athletic director Steve Patterson expects to hire a new coach by Jan. 15th.
