This ACC Football Team Dramatically Reducing Fan Capacity For Next Season

If tweet fails to load, click here. Pitt is reducing its fan capacity for the 2026 football season. These plans were confirmed by Pitt athletic director Allen Greene who believes this plan will actually give the Panthers a better fan atmosphere during games...quote:
“Prior to getting here, I’d heard about our capacity and heard about our fan experience,” Greene said Wednesday. “One of the very first things Coach (Pat) Narduzzi said was our fans, players want to run out of the stadium and feel the energy from our fans. And so creating a more intimate environment in this way allows us the opportunity to do that.”
