Apparently during halftime of the Pinstripe Bowl between Notre Dame and Rutgers Saturday, ESPN college football analyst Chris Fowler was eating a chicken sandwich when he started choking. Luckily his color analyst partner Jesse Palmer jumped in and gave Fowler the Heimlich maneuver, saving his life. Fowler Tweeted...
quote:

"@cbfowler
Never before needed a Heimlich at halftime. (Or any time)!
thanks Jesse Palmer! He saved me from death by dry chicken sandwich.
Really.

@cbfowler
Not bad to have quick thinking, ex-NFL player around when Heimlich needed. I'll take bruised ribs to avoid choking!"
