Texas Tech head coach Chris Beard is leaving to coach at his Alma matter Texas. Per 247sports...

Texas officials waited to talk to Beard until April 1, when Beard's contract buyout for schools in Texas and/or the Big 12, dropped from $5 million to $4 million. But sources told Horns247 since last week there appeared to be mutual interest from Beard, and a deal came together quickly.
