If you've seen Charles Barkley lately he has lost a bit of weight. And he's done so with the help of Weight Watchers, who he is a now the new spokesperson for. (You can watch one of his commercials for the diet here.) But tonight while Barkley was calling the Miami vs. Atlanta game, and during a timeout when he thought the cameras were in commercial, Sir Charles tells his fellow announcers that Weight Watchers is a scam. Watch it here. Oh, and he also admits he hates the Atlanta Hawks. Enjoy.

I would in fact think the comments about the game would be a bigger deal.

It is pretty obvious he meant it is a scam to get paid to lose weight. He said in the same sentence right before that he always says getting paid to talk sports is and then says that the ww thing is the best. What a nonstory. I feel like I'm reading yahoo.

Doesn't matter what he meant. He is Toast. Unbuttered, whole wheat toast, but toast nonetheless. No way theu can keep him on the payroll. Jenny Craig would kick their arse

He's calling it "easy money", not a scam in the real sense of the word.

i think he is referring to being paid by weight watchers to lose weight. he isn't calling the diet a scam, but that he is scamming them for what he calls, "free money".
