UPDATED 4:47pm...

Mike Brown has taken the job as the Lakers head coach with a four-year, $18.25 million deal.

From earlier...

Former Cleveland Cavs coach and now ESPN analyst Mike Brown is the leading candidate for the Los Angles Lakers head coaching job. Apparently, the two parties have already exchanged contract figures, with a deal being worked out as early as today according to ESPN's Chris Broussard. If they fail to reach an agreement the Lakers will go to former Houston Rockets coach Rick Adelman pretty quickly.

I think Brown could do a good job. He won coach of the year only a couple of years ago. And you can say he did a decent job coaching LeBron with no help around him. What do you think? Discuss it here.
