Nuggets Ty Lawson Arrested On Suspicion Of DUI After Team Event

Denver Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:19am Friday morning, according to Blair Shiff of KUSA.

The arresting officer claimed Lawson's speech was slurred, breath had a strong odor of alcohol, he was swaying and his eyes were bloodshot.

He consented to a field sobriety test, which he failed according to the officer. He refused a chemical test.

After being taken to DDC DUI Room, Lawson reportedly admitted to an officer that he had a previous DUI in Missouri.

Lawson posted multiple pictures on his Facebook profile Thursday night of him participating in a team charity event at Punch Bowl Social in Denver.
