The Tampa Bay Rays announced Friday that they have hired Kevin Cash to be the teams new manager.

Cash, who turns 37 on Saturday, will be the youngest manager in the majors and has no managing experience. He has been the bullpen coach for the Cleveland Indians for the past two seasons. Before that, the Tampa native spent 2012 as an advance scout for the Blue Jays.
