This may be hard to look at if you're a Cubs fan. Chicago held a 3-2 series lead in the 2003 NLCS against the Florida Marlins. It was the seventh inning and the Cubs were enjoying a 3-0 lead and we all know what happened next - Steve Bartman reached for a foul ball. The rest is history.

However during the game, these Cubs World Series hats were placed in Cubs players’ lockers in anticipation of Chicago winning the NLCS that night...

The hats were not removed before the Cubs players returned to their locker room with a loss. Cool and yet depressing.

What's the difference between the World Series & a Polar Bear?
