What a character Spurrier is. Still one of the very best coaches to have coached this game IMHO. His candor just makes him more entertaining.

Kinda felt bad for him listening to that, sounds like he isn't having fun anymore, he has nothing left to prove, he made Carolina a contender for several years. Maybe time to hang it up. Have him replace Corso.

He wanted to retire last season but stayed out of loyalty to SC so they can find a decent replacement. I hope they are looking so the GOAT can retire to the golf game.

Nothing but mad respect for that guy. Hell of a coach and one hell of a straight shooter.

I can't believe he's still there

he used to needlessly run the score up so bad on us, it wouldn't have hurt my feelings to see us put up 100 on them...kind of nice to see him acting humbly, for a change...
