No. 23 LSU outlasted Arkansas to notch a 72-69 win on the road. The Tigers improved to 22-4 overall and 10-1 in the SEC. It was LSU's tenth straight SEC win.

LSU trailed by as many as 18 points in the first half before cutting the lead to six at halftime. Marcus Thornton led all scorers with 26 points, while Tasmin Mitchell added 22 points. LSU struggled from the free throw line, only making 12 of 23 attempts, but Thornton made two clutch free throws with 12 seconds left to put LSU up by three and seal the victory. LSU returns to action on Saturday to face Auburn at the PMAC. Tip-off is at 7pm CT.
