The Men's Basketball team will host the No. 15 Xavier Musketeers tonight at the PMAC. The game, which tips-off at 7pm CT, will be televised nationally by ESPN2. As of close of business Friday, the Athletic Department announced that there were only 950 tickets remaining to be purchased for the game.

In LSU Football news, it was announced yesterday that the LSU Football Spring Game will be played on April 18. The time was still to be determined. According to LSUsports.net:

Other sporting events scheduled for April 18 on the LSU campus include a baseball game against Tennessee at the new Alex Box Stadium at 3 p.m.; softball hosting Florida in a doubleheader at the new Tiger Park starting at 1 p.m.; men’s tennis hosting Arkansas at Robinson Tennis Stadium at 1 p.m. and the track and field team playing host all day to the LSU Alumni Gold Relays at Bernie Moore Stadium.

The LSU Football team will begin spring drills on March 12.

In LSU Baseball news, the Tigers are ranked No. 1 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches' preseason poll released yesterday. North Carolina, who eliminated LSU from the College World Series last year, came in one point behind the Tigers at the No. 2 spot. Click here for the complete poll.

In LSU Recruiting news, LSU will welcome some very highly rated recruits to campus this weekend, highlighted by Bastrop WR Rueben Randle. Fourteen players will be joining Randle, including:
