LSU Baseball claims No. 1 spot in Baseball America Poll

LSU claimed the top spot in the latest Baseball America Top 25 poll. The Tigers (7-0) were previously ranked No. 2. The Tigers remained No. 1 in the Collegiate Baseball Top 25 poll.

LSU, who has outscored its opponents 80-18 through the first seven games of the season, returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to New Orleans to face UNO at Maestri Field. First pitch is at 6:30pm CT.

Note: The starting time of the LSU-Mississippi Valley State baseball game on Wednesday has been moved to 5pm CT, LSU officials announced Monday.

The game was originally scheduled to begin at 6:30pm CT, but was moved to 5pm to ease the conflict with the LSU-Vanderbilt men's basketball game that begins at 7pm in the PMAC.
