The LSU-Arkansas baseball game scheduled for 6:30pm Friday was postponed due to severe weather in the Fayetteville area.
The teams are now scheduled to play a doubleheader beginning at Noon today. The twin bill will consist of two nine-inning games, and there will be approximately 45 minutes in between games.
UPDATE: The scheduled noon CT start of the LSU-Arkansas baseball doubleheader Saturday has been delayed due to the severe weather that continues to affect the Northwest Arkansas area. Arkansas athletics officials said they will attempt to evaluate the status of today’s games at 3 p.m. Fourth-ranked LSU (34-12, 14-7 SEC) and No. 7 Arkansas (30-12, 13-7 SEC) were originally slated to begin their series Friday night; however, severe weather forced the teams to schedule a doubleheader for Saturday. The third game of the series is scheduled to be played at 1 p.m. Sunday, weather permitting.
