The LSU women's basketball team received a No. 6 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament and will travel to Columbus, Ohio to face No. 11 seed Central Michigan on Saturday 10 a.m. CT. Per LSUSports.net:

BATON ROUGE -- The sixth-seeded LSU women's basketball team will travel to Columbus, Ohio, for the first round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament to face No. 11 seed Central Michigan (28-4) on Saturday 10 a.m. CT, it was announced on Selection Monday.

All games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks, broadcast on 107.3 FM in Baton Rouge and streamed free on LSUsports.net/live.

LSU (19-9, 11-5 SEC) makes its 26th appearance in the NCAA Tournament, its sixth in the past seven seasons. The Lady Tigers have never played the Chippewas in basketball.

The winner of LSU-CMU will face the winner of No. 3 Ohio St. (27-6) and No. 14 George Washington (19-13) on Monday at a time to be determined.
