Per Fifth-ranked LSU scored three runs in the fourth and sixth innings to take over the game then finished off South Carolina with a five-run eighth inning to win the series finale, 11-3. The LSU bullpen struck out seven and didn't allow a hit in the final 3 2/3 to win the series, two games to one.
