New LSU Basketball head coach Will Wade extended an offer to four-star power forward Ahmad Hudson on Thursday.

The 6-6, 239-pound recruit from Ruston, La., is rated the No. 6 power forward in the country and the No. 1 overall player in Louisiana for the class of 2027, according to 247 Sports. Hudson is considered a Top-30 overall player in the country.

Hudson also excels on the football field as a five-star tight end and a major priority for Lane Kiffin.

Last game in the state championships he went for 32 pts, 24 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Came up short. If he was a couple inches taller he would be a beast. Not a great shooter but really strong around the basket
