BATON ROUGE, La. – The No. 2-seeded LSU Gymnastics team is set to begin its postseason journey on Thursday night as the Tigers host the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. LSU will compete in the second session of the NCAA Second Round at 7 p.m. CT on April 2.

The Tigers enter the postseason having secured their 43rd NCAA Regional appearance and extending their streak to 41 consecutive regional berths. As the No. 2 national seed, LSU will look to advance forward to Fort Worth for the 36th time in program history with a strong showing on its home floor.

LSU’s session will feature No. 15 Clemson, Auburn and Nebraska, who won the first round matchup on Wednesday afternoon to advance to round two. Earlier in the day, Session I will include No. 7 Stanford, No. 10 Michigan, North Carolina and Utah State beginning at 1 p.m. CT in the PMAC.

The top two teams from both of Thursday’s sessions will advance to Saturday’s regional final, scheduled for 5 p.m. CT on April 4th.

The Baton Rouge Regional is one of four sites hosting competition across the country, with the nation’s top 36 teams vying for a spot in the NCAA Championships. The top two teams from Saturday’s final will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships, set for April 16-18 in Dickies Arena.

The Tigers have been a mainstay on the national stage, boasting 34 NCAA Championships appearances and 15 regional titles in program history. Competing in front of a home crowd inside the PMAC, LSU will aim to add to that legacy as postseason competition begins.

Four Gymnasts Earned 2026 WCGA Regular Season All-America Honors

The LSU Gymnastics team added nine All-America honors to their resume as the Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) announced its 2026 Regular Season All-America honors, with multiple Tigers earning recognition across several events.

Headlining the group is sophomore Kailin Chio, who earned First Team All-America honors in the all-around, vault, beam, and floor exercise, moving her career total to 11, the 10th most by a gymnast in school history.

Chio finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in the nation on both vault (9.980) and beam (9.995), while her all-around National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 39.795 led the country and solidified her as the top gymnasts in collegiate gymnastics this season.

Sophomore Kaliya Lincoln earned First Team All-America honors on floor exercise after tying for second nationally with a 9.960 NQS. Lincoln also picked up Second Team All-America recognition on vault with a 9.915, showcasing her impact as one of LSU’s premier specialists. It was the first All-America recognition for Lincoln.

Konnor McClain was named a First Team All-American on uneven bars with her 9.940 NQS and Second Team All-America honors on beam with a 9.935. The junior is now an eight-time All-American, adding her third career honor on bars and fourth on beam.

Rounding out LSU’s honorees this season is Amari Drayton, who earned Second Team All-America recognition on vault with a 9.915 NQS, her second time claiming All-America honors in her career. She now owns one on floor and one on vault.

In total, the Tigers combined for nine All-America honors across four gymnasts, reinforcing the program’s standing among the nation’s elite as postseason competition continues. LSU now owns a total of 357 All-America recognitions in program history.

The WCGA Regular Season All-America honors are determined by NQS rankings at the conclusion of the regular season, recognizing the top 16 gymnasts nationally on each event and in the all-around.

Week 12 Final Regular Season Rankings

The Tigers finished the regular season as the No. 2 team in the country and held on to the second spot for seven straight weeks. LSU enters the NCAA postseason with an NQS of 197.920. The week 12 ranking marked the ninth straight week that LSU placed in the top 10 on all four events and sixth straight week in the top 5 on every event.

LSU finished the regular season as still the only team in the country to rank on the top three on every event nationally – second on vault, third on bars, third on beam and first on floor.

The Tigers held onto the No. 1 spot on floor for the sixth straight week with their NQS of 49.543.

In the individual event rankings, sophomore Kailin Chio claimed her fourth straight week as the No. 1 all-around gymnast in the nation with her NQS of 39.795. She ended UCLA’s Jordan Chiles eight-week reign at the top in the week nine rankings.

Chio also marked her ninth straight week as the No. 1 beam performer in the nation with her NQS of 9.950 on the event, as well as her fifth straight week at No. 1 on vault with an NQS of 9.980. The sophomore also sits in the top-25 in the country on bars (20) and floor (5).

Juniors Konnor McClain and Amari Drayton and sophomore Kaliya Lincoln have risen as three-event weapons for LSU, ranking in the top 25 nationally on two events for LSU in the final regular season standings.

McClain finished the regular season ranked No. 8 on bars and No. 11 on beam in the country. Drayton ranks No. 11 on vault and No. 17 on beam, while Lincoln also ranks No. 11 on vault and No. 2 on floor.
