The LSU Board of Supervisors will be holding a special meeting tomorrow to discuss Brian Kelly’s lawsuit seeking his full buyout, according to Louisiana reporter Piper Hutchinson.

Hutchinson states that most of the meeting will happen behind closed doors.

Kelly, who was fired on October 26 after the Texas A&M loss, filed a lawsuit on November 10 seeking his full $53 million buyout owed in his contract.

LSU just needs to pay his $800K monthly buyout installments and vigorously enforce the mitigation clause requirement that BK attempt to find another job. Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Penn State, UCLA, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, and Stanford all have openings. LSU should be hammering BK and his agent as to whether they’ve been trying to get interviews for any of those openings. James Franklin got fired a few days before BK and he’s already found a new P4 job
