LSU linebacker Greg Penn III spoke with reporters after practice on Wednesday and talked about new DC Blake Baker and how he has already helped the linebacker room.

Penn said that Baker's new defense has everyone flying around, reacting more, and thinking less.

i just hope that we cut down on the early miscues like busted assignments and can play fast. play fast with few mistakes. hope we dont have a lot of growing pains, because we have to be good out the gate this year.

Every interview about the defense you hear the same things - more energy, more enthusiasm, less reading and more reacting. House was such a fraud, so happy he’s gone

I would not go so far as to call him a "fraud". I would say he did not have the necessary skill set to structure a defense to match the talet he put on field. "Read and React" failed badly.
