LSU remains at No. 6 in the latest SEC Power Rankings from ESPN after beating Texas A&M 19-7 on Saturday night.

The Tigers finished the regular season with a 8-3, 5-3 record and will have to wait until Sunday to find out what Bowl game they are heading to.

6. LSU (8-3): He was gone until he wasn't. It appears Les Miles will remain LSU's coach after athletic director Joe Alleva followed a 19-7 win over Texas A&M with his announcement on Miles' future. The Tigers pulling out a victory after all the drama surrounding their head coach throughout the week is admirable, but a step forward still needs to be taken. LSU is tied for third in the SEC West. Tigers fans understandably want to be contending for titles.
1. Alabama (11-1)
2. Ole Miss (9-3)
3. Florida (10-2)
4. Mississippi State (8-4)
5. Arkansas (7-5)
6. LSU (8-3)
7. Tennessee (8-4)
8. Georgia (9-3)
9. Texas A&M (8-4)
10. Auburn (6-6)
11. Kentucky (5-7)
12. Vanderbilt (4-8)
13. Missouri (5-7)
14. South Carolina (3-9)

Tennessee lost to Arkansas and Alabama, didn't play ole miss, and lost to Florida. I don't care what the scores were, that doesn't justify going ahead of a team who beat Florida and whose only losses were Alabama, Arkansas, and ole miss.

Swapping UT/LSU would make this more accurate. Yeah, one more loss, but look at the OU, Bama, AR, and UF play by play, big difference as well as final scores other than UF.
