ETA - actually scrolled the list again...several of them have Auburn, LSU, and Bama....crazy. No way the CFP allows that. Becomes too regional and too many dollars at stake.

@TigerFan244 No one is saying the SEC would have 3 in at the *END* of the season. This is basically a "Power Rating" for college teams through week 5, that's all.

My guess is none of them think more than two SEC teams would be in the actual playoff. This is a hypothetical "if the playoff were next week" scenario.

The only way both Bama and LSU get in is if LSU beats Bama. Bama is the only SEC team that they will vote in without the SEC title. Whoever wins between Bama and LSU will best Georgia for the SEC title and punch thier ticket to the playoffs.

I don't think so. In fact, if LSU were to lose at Bama by 10 or less and Bama ran the table and so did LSU, the Tigers could still make it in. They'd need UGA to lose SEC Champ and another game (maybe) and they'd need Texas to beat OU or Clemson or Ohio State to lose 1. It's possible for the SEC to have Bama and LSU in!
