The Outland Trophy which is awarded to college football’s top interior lineman on offense or defense released it's watch list Friday and included LSU offensive lineman Ethan Pocic and and defensive lineman Davon Godchaux to the list. Per LSUSports.net:

A native of Plaquemine, Louisiana, Godchaux posted 6.0 sacks, good for second-most on the team, last season to go along with 9.0 tackles for a loss and four quarterback hurries. He finished his sophomore season with 41 total tackles after starting all 12 games at defensive tackle.

A Lemont, Illinois native, Pocic started all 12 games at center as a junior last season.

Pocic finished the 2015 season with a team-best 132.5 knockdown blocks, the highest total by an LSU offensive lineman since at least 2010, and he earned Southeastern Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week twice in 2015 with great performances at Mississippi State and against South Carolina.
