Sunday's LSU Fan Day & Media Day Activities Cancelled

LSU announced Saturday that they have canceled Football Fan Day and Media Day on Sunday due to the continued rain and flooding across Louisiana. Per LSUSports.net:

Fan Day will not be rescheduled. LSU is working on a plan to distribute the football schedule placards, posters as well as the complimentary Geaux Clear bags, which were both going to be handed out on Sunday.

“Safety is our primary concern right now,” LSU Vice-Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva said. “Unfortunately, with all of the high water, flooding and continued rain, there is no way that we can put people in harm’s way so we have no choice but to cancel this event.”
