LSU senior linebacker Damone Clark was named Defensive Player of the Week by the Senior Bowl on Monday.

Clark recorded a season-high 18 tackles, one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble vs. Ole Miss last Saturday. He currently leads the nation in total tackles with 98 on the year.

It’s unusual to give defensive player of the week to a team that gave up that many points, but he did have a good game. It’s time for everybody to admit that he’s a good player.

Yeah. When the running back has three possible lanes to gash through on every play, it’s hard to play aggressive. He’s a good player and will do well in the league.
